Philippine Immigrant Visa Quota (13)

04. April 2012 FAC Many insiders have heard of the Quota Visa (SEC 13) that epitomises the highest visa status in the Philippines. The large number of enquiries concerning the Quota Visa prompts us, once for all, to get rid of an old clich. Beginning with 2011, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) has revised its guidelines (Requirements) for all Types of Visas in order to bring about more transparency. Primarily, however, the aim was to curb Corruption at the Bureau, which, with immediate effect, has become virtually impossible. This can be counted among the major achievements of the Present Administration. What does that mean for new Applicants and those who bought the Quota Visa in the past? Since October 2011, the Bureau Internally Investigates all old Applications for the years 2004 to 2010 concerning their completeness. Holders of Quota Visas should always safekeep the Order of Approval. Likewise, we recommend to archive and keep the receipts of the Annual Report in order to be ready to present copies of said documents upon request. If you have any further confidential queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. All new Appicants for a Quota Visa (this does not refer to the 13 A Visa married to a Filipina) have to be assessed whether or not they qualify to apply for this Visa. Appointments for an Interview concerning the Qualification for the Qota Visa can be made with us at any time under the Telephone Numbers: Landline Manila (2) 57 999 53 or Cell Phone + 63 915 82626 57 and through E-Mmail: visa@foreign-assistance-center.com Please do not listen to any other stories you may have heard or believe to be true. These are, acrossthe-board, not serious and do not conform to the present circumstances and guidelines of the Bureau of Immigration. We do not paint everything black and white and merely refer to the implementation of the new Immigration Law. A novelty is that each Applicant after checking the completeness of the submitted documents has to attend a so-called hearing. On average, this hearing lasts for one hours. An Application for a hearing should only be made if you are absolutely certain that you qualify for the Quota Visa. This can only be ascertained by officials of the BI, accredited Staff and Lawyers, and trained staff of FAC Philippines. A list of all authorized and accredited persons can be found on the Homepages of the BI ( www.immigration.gov.ph ) and FAC Philippines. The estimated processing time of FAC Philippines for a Quota Visa Application is about 6 weeks.

For your Information

No accredited staff Member, Lawyer or Employee of FAC Philippines is authorized to give assurances beforehand concerning the granting of the Quota Visa Status. This approval is exclusively reserved to the Commission of the Bureau of Immigration and subject to the outcome of the hearing.
