Got Fruit?

Whats Love Got to do with it?

Compare Gal 5:22 with 1 Cor 13 LAW Of ENTROPY (2nd law Thermodynamics) - Everything increases in Chaos...Everything breaks down without a new infusing of energy to keep it at the current state. entropy 1. A measure of the disorder or randomness in a closed system. 2. The tendency for all matter and energy in the universe to evolve toward a state of inert uniformity. 3. Inevitable and steady deterioration of a system or society. Just like a house that must be maintained if neglected will eventually suffer small, seemingly insignicant fractures, eventually, they become compounded and the entire structure if left unattended will be in need of major repairs, if not collapse...The increasing chaos can only be stopped by an infusion of energy to overcome the decay. Our relationships continually need to have an infusion of power Relationships will decay, without it. ONLY the Fruit of the Spirit can fully sustain us!

Fruit Takes YEARS:

It takes an average of 7 years for fruit plants to bear a good crop of fruit. Until then plants are subjected to pruning so that the energy received by the sun and soil are forced into the roots creating a strong plant. If the fruit were permitted to be brought forth early, all energy expended goes to making fruit and the plant is weak when drought comes.

DESCRIBE LOVE: The Drive to benefit another at the expense of self! What kind of a word is LOVE noun, verb?

LOVE - is what Changes it all! LOVE is the FOUNDATION of it all IF I LOVE, I will have JOY, That Love and Joy anchor my soul giving Peace. That peace produces patience because I am not worrying, fretting, but trusting & merciful. That Attitude of heart then helps me to be Kind and tender towards

others, rather than malicious. I will be thinking of others above myself. I will then desire good benefits towards others, rather than seeking vengeance. I will be Faithful toward that end, being diligent and vigilant toward others and commitments regardless of reciprocation. Gentleness with those that are weak and either unwilling or unable to reciprocate...gentleness towards my enemies, not argumentative, not seeking my own right.. operating in self control for the sake of others.

If I have LOVE I have all things and there is no law against it.

Ephesians 4:2-3 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. John 15:9-17 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Fathers commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. These things I command you, so that you will love one another. Romans 13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. Galatians 5:13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

Fruit and Good Works are not the same thing!

Fruit and works are not the same thing. Though we often dont discern between the two. We look at a person, a ministry or a church body and see the activity, works and business and presume these things to be a margin or standard to be able to state, That is good. Dont misunderstand me, we need good works, Faith without works is dead, but anyone can perform works. There are plenty of very commendable humanistic efforts. Commendable ethics and moral works do not make the Christian. Works powered by man can be presumed as fruit, just as gifts of the Spirit can be perceived as fruit. This couldnt be farther from the truth. Remember, 1Corinthians 13:1-3.Paul clues us into this when he said, Though I speak with the tongues of men and

of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Upon simple examination of the scriptures in I Corinthians chapter thirteen we find that love is preeminent. Love is the whole, comprised of parts. Ephesians 5:9 - (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth)

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is Love (producing): joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. 1 Cor 13:13. But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love because it is all encompassing
