Moon is nearest heavenly body of our solar system.

This is having the great importance and big role with our human or any elements on earth. Every time we count on high tides during full moon day, science talks about moon gravitational attraction. If moon can pull the sea water, why it cannot affect human body? As human body is having 70 % of water contents. Medical science defines that hear is having the master gland which secret the hormones and these secreted hormones gradually regulate the other body parts, hormones. Does it mean that, as sea has high tides, this shall also result in high tides equivalent action in human body. But answer is no, if this happened, then all the humans will be having the same mood swings. All will be happy or depressed. Now the question comes why it is having the different impact on different human? Answer is very clear, at the time of birth child first experience is the total gravitational forces of all the planets, this settles its basic characteristic. This is well explained with the Ashtakvarga technique explained by Rishi Parashar. Medical defines that HUMAN WILL IS SOURCE OF HIS FIGHT AGAINST DISEASE. This mood swings is well defined by the Moon transit. Use Ashtakavarga technique Prastaraka. ( Any one need explanation please ask, will be cleared to him) But still something big is missing. Karana
A karaa is half of a tithi. To be precise, a karana is the time required for the angular distance between the sun and the moon to increase in steps of 6 starting from 0. (Compare with the definition of a tithi above.) Since the tithis are thirty in number, one would expect there to be sixty karanas. But there are only eleven. There are four "fixed" karanas and seven "repeating" karanas. The four "fixed" karanas are:

1. 2. 3. 4.

Kinstughna akuni Catupda Ngava

The seven "repeating" karanas are:

1.

Bhava

2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.

Blava Kaulava Taitula Garaja Vija Vii (Bhadra)

Now the first half of the first tithi (of the bright fortnight) is always Kimstughna karana. Hence this karana is "fixed". Next, the seven repeating karanas repeat eight times to cover the next 56 half-tithis. Thus these are the "repeating" karanas. The three remaining half-tithis take the remaining "fixed" karanas in order. Thus these are also "fixed". Thus one gets sixty karanas from eleven.

The karana active during sunrise of a day is the karana for the day
