The PSLE years are probably the most challenging years for the Primary School Parent. As the PSLE date draws nearer, the tension and temperature in the household increases. This workshop will explore how parents can integrate Choice Theory into their Screamfree Parenting journey. The Upper Primary phase is a time where the parent has to make choices choices about moving with change i.e. Growing up with their child . Preparing the Parent for Change Understanding the Parents Needs as the Child approaches Adolescence Review of Parents Goals for the Adolescent Child This workshop has been contextualized to the Singapore family context, to enhance your parenting skills as your child goes through the final journey in Primary School and prepares for adolescence.

Speaker: Charlene Teo is a counselor on the Enhanced Step-Up Programme at Shan You Counselling
Centre. She has a passion for lifelong learning - as a learner, a teacher, a coach, a trainer, a counsellor and an educator with a total of more than 30 years experience in various related industries. She hones this passion by combining her skills in customer service, human behaviour management, training, counseling and the creative arts to produce training that is challenging, fresh and effective
