REPORT ON SERVICE IN THE LIBRARY OBJECTIVE Find out the quality of the service in DAEA's Library in terms of organization,

books and attention to students. INTRODUCTION The aim of this report is: To investigate the perception the students have in terms of organization. To find out about the quality of the books. To examine the attention give to the students.

As preparation of this report I enterview a number of students in the language degree who use the library. CURRENT CONTEXT At the present the library is visited frecuently by students who need to use the facilities and the material for doing their homeworks. The reason because I do this report is because i want to know if the facilities and the material is enough. Also I want to know if the staff is capacitate for doing their jobs in terms of information and also in terms of attention, because the students need to be confortable asking question about the function of the library. RESULTS The students I interview goes to the library in their mayority three times at week, just a few of them goes less frecuently. The goes to the library for consulting books and use the internet just a few of them use the library loan and the cubicles.The books are not in the conditions for being used because the majority are lines and missing pages. In terms of information the staff is highly capacitate to doing their jobs clarifying all the doubts the students have. The 53.3% to the students I interview think that the library need some facilities to the students. The electrical conexions and the extention of readers circles are the most demanded. One of the students said that will be great have a cinema club with movies in

many languages. The other 46.6% think that everythng is covered. The 33.3% percent did not find the books that they need. The other 26.6% do not and the rest 40% said that most of the time they just find the reserve book which they cannot borrow it to their homes. In terms of attention 33.3% percent of students answered that the attention is good, but the 53.3% said that is regular because the staff has no education and they are unapprochable. And the last 13.3% percent think that the staff is always in a bad mood and the students do not feel confortable asking for information and they prefer asking to a partner.

RECOMMENDATIONS According with the results of the survey, I just want to propose some things that can help to the library to make it more functional and confortable to the students as create an new and bigger space for readers than the current one. Install electrics conexions for students's laptop and more conexion for the use of internet it will be a great idea. And finally, give speechs to the staff for improve their behaviour.
