A Case Study
Recruitment management and talent consulting for a new set-up of a leading organization in the insurance sector; specifically during high paced growth period. Client Situation:
Our Client is a leading joint venture company in the insurance domain. As a part of global business expansion, the Client was working on its strategy of expanding its product offerings to the Indian market. For the new set-up cities of Mumbai and Lucknow were identified. The initial requirement was to close critical positions which will help in the first stage of business set-up. The profiles for the first stage were specific to middle and senior management roles with positions to be closed across the functions: Marketing, Training, Sales, Project, Anaytics etc. Being a new entrant in the geography, Client also decided to undertake compensation study for the open positions. As a policy, the Client also had a rural obligation under which some percentage of total sales has to come from the rural areas. The identified areas were of Andhra Pradesh and Punjab. Elixir was given the task to undertake talent study for rural area and hire for all open positions in stage one. In total, Client had to recruit 150-170 people in a span of 30 days (along with study of talent availability and compensation) for which the RPO assignment was undertaken..

Elixirs RPOSure Solution


Elixir through its RPO Sure team helped the client by providing the appended solutions: Created two set of teams to take up the tasks simultaneously- a. Study of rural market b. Research and Hire; members with prior experience in the BFSI sector were made part of the project the On - Time deliverables and to streamline the process flow, also it ensured that the loopholes are being filled in at the right time. Sourcing & Screening Strategy was build in with the help of the Elixirs Delivery Team with the consent of the RPO Team and the entire process mapping was done. A well versed Interviews Process Flow was exchanged with the client to avoid ambiguity

Travel to various cities was done and Preliminary Assessments & Interviews were conducted by Elixirs Team, to ensure that the funnel should consist only of the outright talent. As the sector was still opening up and anticipating that the sales team would go through an initial resistance from customers, a specific Assessment Test was created which had Aptitude Round, English test and a Group Discussion. Since the candidates were to work with a MNC, the shortlisted candidates were offered grooming classes Onsite Interview Management & Coordination support was provided to the client, to ensure the streamline process flow and any avoid any hiccups. Talent and compensation study was done by the team who travelled to various cities; in total approx 1500 people were interviewed; leading BFSI, FMCG organization were tapped to identify talent ambiguity Travel to various cities was done and Preliminary Assessments & Interviews were conducted by Elixirs Team, to ensure that the funnel should consist only of the outright talent. Onsite Interview Management & Coordination support was provided to the client, to ensure the streamline process flow and any avoid any hiccups. Since the recruitment was for 2 locations, travel arrangements for selected candidates was done and monitored closely by the Elixir team.
