48th Annual Dixon Petunia Festival

Monday July 2
7pm 176 Keys - Dueling Pianos - Historic Dixon Theatre
Back again this year, 176 Keys Piano Show is the most
engaging show of its kind you will see anywhere. At
its simplest, its audience sing-along from rock, country
and all types of music. From there, members of the au-
dience will sing and do any number of activities in uni-
son or in side vs. side battles. Join us for another fun-
lled evening! Tickets are $8.00 per person available
online at www.dixontheatre.com or at the door on the
day of the event. All seats will be general admission.
No outside food or beverage is allowed in the Historic
Dixon Theatre
7pm FERRIS BUELLERS DAY OFF
at the Midway Drive-In
Bring your friends and family to see Ferris Buellers
Day Off on the largest movie screen in Dixon, IL at the
Midway Drive-In and bring your dancing shoes! Before
the start of Ferris Buellers Day Off, the Petunia Festi-
val King, Queen and Royal Court will gather at the front
of the Midway Drive-In screen to recreate the classic
TWIST AND SHOUT dance number from the lm and
you are invited to join in! Gates open at 7:00pmand the
movie starts at dusk. Special family friendly admission

The Youth Tournament will be July 3rd and July 5th
(rain date July 6th).The Adult Tournament will be held
July 7th and Mixed Doubles July 8th (rain date July

NOON 6th Annual Dixon Petunia Festival Bean Bag
Tournament - Behind the Taste Trail (Page Park Drive)
This tournament, also referred to as bags or Corn
Hole, will be a single elimination tournament with best
three out of ve games. Registration begins at noon
with play starting at approximately 1:30 p.m.
Cash prizes will be awarded. Bring your friends and
family along to enjoy music, food, beverages, and a
nice cold adult beverage too.

for his One Minute Songs. The Historic Dixon The-

The Dixon High School girls and boys soccer team will
play their alumni. Girls play from5 to 6:30PMand boys

otic and American favorites. The music is from 7 p.m.

Join us for this 1984 tale of teen rebellion and repres-
sion featuring a delightful combination of dance cho-
reography and realistic and touching performances.

The Annual Elks Fishing Derby is open to kids of all
ages. Brackets will be from 5 & under to 16 and older
with prizes for each division. Registration and permis-

This years Parade Theme is Star Spangled Petunias.
Includes: oats, drum corps, dancing, clowns & novelty
units from our area Tebala & Medinah Shriner organiza-
tions. Chicago Honey Bear Dancers, Pipes & Drums of
Clan MacAlpine and The Small DrumCorps Association
(6 corps). Judging will once again take place at Haymar-
ket Square.

Rock River near the 900 block of West First Street.
Spectator seating will be allowed on both sides of the

2012 Festival Fundraiser

$10,000 IN COLD HARD CASH!! Only 2500 tick-
ets will be sold. Get your tickets at the Dixon Main
Street ofce or call (888)441-7851. Ticket prices for
this fundraiser are as follows: 1 for $20, 3 for $50
and 7 for $100.
The drawing will be held on Sunday night, July 8, 2012, at
the River Stage on the festival grounds at approximately
8:00 p.m. See the Harley on display before the festival
at Ace Hardware in Dixon on the weekends and during
the festival at numerous events and at the Taste Trail. All
proceeds benet the Dixon Petunia Festival, a nonprot
organization. Winner is responsible for all taxes and fees.

day. $20.00 at the gate Thursday & Friday. $5.00.

3-Day Admission to Festival Grounds - $6.00 at Gate
2012 Petunia Festival Ticket - Purchase your ticket to
the Festival in 2 ways.
1.Purchase a ticket for our Tuesday night Country Concert at
the River Stage on the Festival grounds for $12.00 and that
includes your entry ticket for Wednesday, Friday & Saturday.
2. ORpurchase an entry ticket for $6.00 for Wednesday, Friday
and Saturday. Each ticket will have three separate, detachable
tickets at the bottom for admission on Wednesday, Friday and
Saturday during festival hours. Each person, over the age of
twelve, will simply need to hand the entire ticket to the gate at-
tendant for admission. Please do not tear your own ticket, as
only whole tickets will be accepted by the gate attendant. You
will need to keep your one ticket for the entire Petunia Festival.
For same day re-entry, you will be given a wrist band that will
allow you re-admittance to the festival.
Please note that Thursday and Sunday are free admission
days. The Board of Directors welcomes you to the 48th An-
nual Dixon Petunia Festival. Any questions can be directed
