To encourage the United Staterr Congress to eupport
and fully fund the Nationdl Aeronautice and Space
Adminlstrationis Vision ifor Space Exploration
Program.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STAT^ OF OHIO (THE HOUSE OF


REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING):

1 WHEREAS, The United States has a prkud heritage of leading


the world in exploration and discovery on land, under the Beas,

and in outer apace. This heritage of expabding the boundaries of 7

our national experience hae been paramound in American prioritiee 8

from the days of Lewie and Clark through I the exploration of t h e 9

moon'B eurface by the Apollo astronauts and of' the surface of Mars 10

using the Mars Rovere; and 11

WHEREAS, The expansion of Arnerica'e I exploration boundaries 12

from the original 13 states to the lunar sdrfake in the relatively 13


short period of 200 years has led to imrnealsurable benefits to all 14

humankind through the development of pew technologres, the 15

creation of job8 across the entire econcjmic' Bpectrum, economic 16

growth through the creation of new cqmrnetclal products and 17
