I was born September 20th 1989 in Medan as the first child and first and grew up in a Christian family

as a cheerful and energetic person. I really love sport and I won some competition of it, especially basketball and badminton. Besides sports, I also enjoyed surfing the internet, watching TV series, dorama, anime, and playing guitar. Not only enjoyment I could get from those hobbies of mine, but also good health and lots of information. I like those activities because they had positive values and I like positive things. My motto is if today I cant be the best, maybe tomorrow Im gonna be the best. But at least, for today, I have to be better than yesterday, so keep the spirit. I took some role in many organizations that gained me good skill in communication, team work, and leadership and I have the marketing skill from my experience selling goods at the market where my mother worked at. I am the oldest child and sister for my elder sister and brother. As the first child, I naturally have the skill of leadership especially to my sister and brother.

My family economic background turned me into a hard worker and motivated person so that I obtained a bachelor degree from a reputable college and graduated from a reputable high school in Medan. It also motivated me to get scholarships so that I could continue studying as my family faced the economic problem. My younger sister and brother, they both motivate me to pursue high education so that I can be a good model for both of them. Also the chance given to me to study and finish it at a public university, made me realize that I grew up and becoming more educated is also because of my country which the payment of the fee of the institution I graduated is coming from this beloved country, Indonesia. So, it is a must for me to pay back what I got from Indonesia, especially to make contribution(s) to development of this country. The challenges were so many, but the basic skill I could obtain is to manage the time between the organization and study also how to work together in a team to accomplish things excellently. I also learned how to speak formally and express my ideas without fear anymore.

When I was a college student, besides studying, I was accepted to be a laboratory assistant for many laboratory practices. I also joined as a pharmacy student club member and attended or was being a committee for many events the student club held. Besides student club, I joined an art club at my college. I like art, and I joined that club especially because its a club that learns about North Sumatera and its art, which my hometown is the capital city of North Sumatera province. Because I love sports, I joined many sports competitions at my college and won some of them. I was also had an experience at working as an intern at a Food and Drug Regulatory Agency in my hometown.

I plan to study on Economics field and I also plan to conduct specific research in my country during my study because it is related to imported goods into my country.

My professional goals basicly is to enhance the economic growth of my country. Finding methods to increase control and supervision of goods imported into Indonesia is useful to reduce the level of fraud / embezzlement of origin of goods that have an impact on reducing the cost of import duties which contribute to the promotion of economic growth associated with free trade. So that is one of many solutions on enhancing the economic growth in Indonesia, because Indonesia is involved in huge free trade in this world.

I will start in my homecountry first. I will take the public exam to become a civil servant. Once I obtain to do it, I will give my aspiration and ideas related to the education to the Legislative Assembly. Step by step, I want to work hard to enhance my career and if there is a chance, I want to be a member of Legislative Assembly in my country, so that I can be as one to contribute more efficiently in my country. Basic answer of mine is, I want to serve my country for a better condition, as it gave me chance to get very good education that Ive never imagined.

The title is Methods to increase control and supervision of goods imported into Indonesia. The level of fraudulent origin of the goods is getting higher because not all the items get AFTA facilities, which sometimes there were several importers disguise the origin of goods imported for duty-free facility or to get a reduction fee in import duty
