INTRODUCTION

GNG Group started as a trading house in the year 1996 as GNG Trading Company
Private Limited, which is now the holding company for the other companies of the group. We ventured into EPC contracts in 2001, later into large contracts in rural electrification, other utility Infrastructure projects. We have executed distribution projects of more than 2500 circuit kms & more than 900 villages which will be directly or indirectly improving the lives of more than 1 million rural people.

We later ventured into sub-station construction, constructing 33 kV and 66 kV substations in various states in India. We have recently bagged a 220 KV bay-extension project of HSIIDC at Manesar, Haryana. We are also executing some very prestigious Mission Mode projects for Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India related to electronic Governance and Information Technology. In this project we will be bringing government & other services closer to more than 5 million rural people of Himachal Pradesh.

HISTORY

BUSINESSES
Starting from a trading house in 1996, GNG Group is now a conglomerate with business verticals in Power Transmission & Distribution, E-Governance & System Integration;

Information Technology enabled Services, Education, Public Private Partnership Projects in Rural Areas & Other Rural Businesses. GNG Group is also foraying into Renewable Energy and Public Infrastructure projects in cooperation with business partners.

Power Transmission & Distribution

GNG is now a renowned name in the field of transmission/distribution lines and substations paving way for contracts from various power utilities. We carry out projects for State Electricity Boards and other private clients of ours on turnkey basis; from conceptual design to the installation and commissioning of electricity lines and substations.

We have already successfully executed many turnkey projects for various State electricity boards. In a very short period of time, we have emerged as a reliable company of power (transmission/distribution) projects having substantial technical and managerial skills. We have successfully executed single projects with valuing Rs. INR 550 Million.

We have also installed six 66 KV Sub-Stations in very tough terrains of Jammu & Kashmir for PDD, J&K. We are also working for sub-station projects up to 220 kV voltage level, currently. In Rohtak, Haryana we have successfully executed 33KV underground cabling project right in the heart of a very congested city. Our focus is on quality and system which is proved by the fact that GNG Trading Co. (P) Ltd. is an ISO 9001:2000 Certified Company.

E-Governance & System Integration

We are executing Common Services Centre Project on PPP mode in nine districts in Himachal Pradesh. This project is part of the Mission mode project of Government of India. We will be opening 2070 centers called CSC (Common Service Center) out of which 1000 are operational providing direct & indirect employment to more than 2000 rural

people. Through this project we hope to benefit more than 5 million people of Himachal Pradesh by bringing services which they require most, closer to them. We will be working with various government departments in making availability of services of those departments to rural people. After a wonderful experience in this field we are looking forward to making more inroads into this field by getting such type of projects for other states.

We have a team of experienced professionals with all the required managerial and technical skills under the leadership of Mr. S.K. Agarwal, our Managing Director. Started with staff strength of two people, now we are a team of 150+ people with a wide range of skills and experience. A man of tremendous foresight, the dynamic and enterprising S.K Agarwal has over 25 years of varied experience in Power T & D, manufacturing and trading. He joined the family business of trading in manufacturing of allied items, while completing his education. Ever since, there has been no looking back for the 50 year old visionary. Mr. S.K. Agarwal started the company in 1996 with a vision to be the best in Power Sector and under whose leadership the company has expanded exponentially. He is a Graduate from KiroriMal Collage and has a wide range of experience and his business activities have been extensive and include projects, manufacturing and trading.

Director: Ms. Neha Agarwal

Ms. Neha Agarwals responsibilities include formulating business strategies for the group and evaluating new registrations & ventures. She is also responsible for financial restructuring and for new initiatives like various certification e.g. ISO 9001:2000 etc.

Ms. Neha Agarwal is a graduate in economics from the prestigious Sri Ram College of Commerce and a post graduate in Business Economics from University of Delhi. She has also worked in MNC banks in various capacities before joining GNG.

Director: Mr. Gaurav Agarwal

Mr. Gaurav Agarwal is in-charge of day to day operations of projects and production facilities. He also takes care of marketing and liasioning part of the turnkey projects.

Due to his technical prowess and in-depth knowledge of project management, he has been instrumental in timely completion of the projects. Mr. Gaurav Agarwal is an Engineer in Information Technology and has an excellent academic record with an eye for details.

Mr. Gautam Agarwal is an Engineer with Masters in Business Administration from the Prestigious IIT, Delhi. He is handling Technology Projects in the company.
