1941 1945: The Australian government developed the Allied Materials Handling Standing Committee (AMHSC) to provide efficient handling of defense supplies during World War II. 1958: Brambles acquired CHEP on April 24 and launched the equipment pool in Australia

1974: Pool launched in New Zealand

1984: Pool launched in 1994: Pool launched in Chile and Mexico. Germany
