TCF STORY
TCF is a professionally managed, non-profit organization set up in 1995 by a group of citizens concerned with the dismal state of education in Pakistan. It is now one of Pakistan's leading organizations in the field of formal education. As of 2009 TCF has established 600 purpose-built school units nationwide with an enrollment of 80,000 students. TCF encourages female enrollment and boasts of a 50% female ratio in almost every campus. TCF has a full Female Faculty of 4,150 members. TCF also has a dedicated Teacher Training Center in Karachi for the ongoing training of its faculty and provides logistical support to all its teachers. 6, 026 jobs have been created in communities in which TCF operates. TCF is registered in Pakistan as a Company limited by guarantee under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 and its accounts are audited by KPMG Taseer Hadi and Co. TCF is ranked amongst the top five scoring organizations certified by the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP) and has received high non-profit organization (NPO) governance rating of GR-8 by JCRVIS Credit Rating Co Ltd.

Positive change in the life of every individual by providing best quality education removing the barriers of class and privilege is the basic Vision or Purpose of TCF. Management from Top level to Bottom including every single staff member is going along with this vision at the level best.

Organizing and Planning

TCF is organized and planned on its clearly conceived vision elaborated above. Every single department is focused and directed towards achievement of this vision this is basic education is the right of every individual apart from the status he or she has.

Strategy
The strategy is to keep increasing a network of already 600 purpose built operational school units which will consequentially increase the enrollment of existing 80,000 students nation wide.

Policy Matters
There is strict application of policy and no deviation from stream lined policy is practiced.

Procedures
There are documented Standard Operating Procedures in placed for every department which are acted upon in accordance with the clearly defined policies.

Staff Motivational Activities
There are several motivational activities which keep the staff motivated, enthusiastic and buoyed during performing their assigned responsibilities. Management Controls
There is strong and stringent controls which keeps the organization safe, healthy and risk free from the financial hazards. For this purpose, there is an internal audit practice which occurred every year and internal auditor submits the report to the CEO. An external audit is also conducted by the competent charted accountant firm which submits its report to the CEO as well as to the regulatory authorities of the state.

Organization provides job opportunity to those students who have passed their matriculation to gain financial assistance during their studies.

Scholarship Policy
There is an excellent scholarship policy provided by the organization. According to this policy, every student is provided financial assistance during the study program. This becomes the best practice when scholarship is extended to those students also, who have passed out from the schools running under the umbrella of TCF in such a way that student can get the scholarship from TCF by providing the documentary evidence of admission of that school, college or university where he/she is intended to carry on study from.
