Corrections to Plagiarism
Cite sources in text; provide bibliography at end of

work (fair mention). Use less than 10% of any one work in papers, homework, projects, etc. (fair use). Ask permission to cite anothers work.

Cheating

advantage, especially in an examination. Misrepresenting another's work as one's one in order to gain unfair advantage. Giving false information or altering documents. Sabotaging other people's work.

hidden or lied about, it's probably wrong. If you don't know what is honest, consult a trusted professional. Do your own work and insist that others do theirs. Be helpful in class. Give credit where credit is due.

Disruptive Behavior

Corrections to Disruptive Behavior

Be on time. Turn off all cell phones, laptops and electronic

devices in order to concentrate in class. Texting, doing puzzles or other distractions will cost participation points for the day. You will be invited to exit the class if your distraction also distracts your classmates. Be respectful and attentive to others in class, even if you do not agree with their points of view. Do not eat or drink in the classroom.
