FINDINGS Intel Corp, AMD, IBM & Nvidia are the main market player of the Micro-processor manufacturing industry and others are ARM Holdings Inc., Qualcomm etc. The study shows that Intel Corp is the market leader of the Micro-processor manufacturing and distributing industry and its been followed by AMD as its strong competitor. The sources and study about the AMD products shows that, the supply of AMD inventories to its distributors are improper, even when the distributors say that the supply is correct. In, fact the source information itself shows that the company is still struggling with the distribution methods. Where the supply of inventories of Intel Corp. is up to the mark with proper check on each and every supplies and online support. Such as while getting the questionnaire filled, its been checked that the distributors of AMD are improper in Haryana regions in India. Intel is already the market leader in Micro-processor industry by selling and manufacturing the highest number of processors, but even then AMD lost some of its market share to Intel Corp in Q2, 2011. Intel corp. is well known for its high R&D. Intel use to develop the products at a very short span of time, thats why duplication or piracy of the product is not possible. In terms of Sales volume, Intel Corp secures the highest volume from all the Channel distributors and In fact, the respondent Channel partners first choice is Intel Corp as the valuable supplier. Out of the analyzed data, its been found that the pricing factor of AMD is considered moreover as Average. It shows somewhere that pricing of other brands are much competitive. The product of AMD is moreover positioned as processor, which gives clear visibility of the pictures and graphics with in High definition view. It means that AMD focuses on the visual more as compared to other factors. AMD provides the promotional support to its channel partners but that promotional support will be fair enough if, its competitor Intel Corp. will be doing badly in terms of Promotional Support to the dealers.

Recommendations
RECOMMENDATIONS AMD needs to check the supplying and distributing method of the inventories to the Channel partners so that they can easily provide product to the end users, which will automatically effect in booming of sales of AMD. For example, if we take India as a whole then the supply is uneven throughout India. Such as most of the AMD distributor lies in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu where in towards Haryana and Rajasthan the supplies lack behind as compared to other states.
AMD needs to check the pricing factor also. Although, the current pricing does not mean that it is too high as cost and too low as value delivery, but still the correction of the pricing may be a marking stone in sales boom. AMD needs to match its footprints in terms of promotional support to the Channel Partners with Intel Corp. If AMD cannot go beyond its capacity but even then it has to move by giving tough competition to its rivals. The services such as Training & Development, Financial Aid, Conferences and Channel Partners meet should be done regularly. As if Intel Corp is taken as an example, Intel Corp regularly in fact monthly organize training and Development session and Channel Partners meet. The competitor brand Intels core competence is its high and speedy R& D factor, which keeps this company at its edge. Intel keeps on updating its current products and delivering new products in market, which helps it from Piracy and duplication of the product. AMD has to focuses on the other services also such as online or phone support to the customers directly round the clock.
