First Mid Term Test Odd Semester


On completion of 1/3rd of the syllabus 14th to 18th September, 2012 Total Marks = 30

75% of attendance in the class.


Duration of exam is 2 hrs

Second Mid Term Test Odd Semester

On completion of 2/3rd of the

syllabus 31st October to 3rd November,2012 Total Marks = 30 75% of attendance in the class. Duration of exam is 2 hrs.

First Mid Term Test Even Semester

16th to 20th February, 2013

On completion of 1/3rd of the syllabus


75% of attendance in the class. Duration of exam is 2 hrs

Second Mid Term Test Even Semester


13th to 17th April,2013
On completion of 2/3rd of the syllabus 75% of attendance in the class.

Duration of exam is 2 hrs.

Rules of Mid Term Tests


All student(s) will be required to appear in both First

and Second Mid Term Test. For any reason beyond the control of student(s) such as illness, tragic incidents in family, extra class test will be arranged only with the permission of Director. Extra test for First Mid Term Test for above students will be conducted before the Second Class Test and extra test for
Second Mid Term Test will be conducted at least one month before the starting of concerned end semester theory examination. The students are supposed to be in college uniform and occupy their respective seats 10 minutes before examination starts, failing of which students will not allowed to enter the room without the permission of CoE. Mobiles are strictly prohibited during examination.

Rules of Mid Term Tests (Continue)


No student is allowed to move out of examination hall 30 minutes after the start of the exam and 30 minutes before the end of exam. In case student move out during examination, faculty is required to accompany him/her. Student cannot submit his/her answer sheet before One and Half Hours. Punctuality should be ensured during the examination. Proper Uniform during the examination otherwise penalty of fine or deduction of marks will be there.

Class Test Marks Criteria

Average of the two Mid Term Tests Marks will be awarded as class test marks

Attendance Marks Criteria


Attendance Above 90% 85 % to 90% 75 % to 85 % Below 75% Marks 10 9 8 Nil

Student having attendance below 75% is not eligible to appear in the external theory examinations

University Pass Criterion


To pass an examination a student is supposed to score

minimum 30 out of 100 per subject in external examination and Sum of internal and external marks should be 60 out of 150 (i.e 40% of 150 marks) per subject to pass the examination Less than 60 out of 150 marks, student gets PCPA (Pass with Carried Papers Average) Student having more than 5 PCPA, is a case of Year Back.

Unfair Means(UFM)
No attempt should be used for unethical practices

during examination Use of unfair means (UFM) by the students during the Sessional Examinations is strictly prohibited. Disciplinary actions may be taken against the students involved in UFM cases. University UFM Rules

UFM Cases
One or more of the following action(s) will constitute UFM: Possession of a material related to question paper. Students copying. Any text, figure etc. printed / written on the desk, chair etc. Possession and use of Mobile Use of calculator other than specific series. Anything written on the question paper other than roll no.

Actions in UFM Cases


If any unauthorized material found not related to subject /

question paper strict warning will be given to the student If any unauthorized material found related to question paper does not match with answer particular exam will be cancelled and zero marks will be awarded for the paper In case misbehavior with faculty/staff or indiscipline in the examination hall, entire test series for the student will be cancelled and zero marks will be allocated in each paper

Actions in UFM Cases (Continue)


In case of simply copying from each other, both the

students are booked in UFM and the matter would be sent to examination committee. On reviewing
if content on both the copies match, both copies will be

cancelled and zero marks will be given to both the students. if content on both of the copies do not match, the students will be given strict warning
