WHAT IS AN ENTREPRENEUR?

A person who assumes the organization, management, and risks of a business enterprise.

Richard Cantillon characterized an entrepreneur as an individual who engages in business without an assurance of the profits he will derive from his enterprise.

Adam Smith described an entrepreneur as an individual who forms an organization for commercial purpose. He is a proprietary capitalist as well as supplier of capital and a manager.

Peter Drucker said an entrepreneur is one who searches for change , responds to it and exploits it as an opportunity.
