Introduction
A text editor is a type of program used for

editing plain text files. It display text on a computer screen and allow users to easily add, remove, and change the style, size, and placement of text in a document without having to retype the entire document.

Objectives
The objective of the developing text editor are The ability to quickly and easily create great-looking

documents. The ability to manage the information and notes in one place. Enhanced formatting capabilities To complete a number of other functions related to word processing. to provide a user friendly GUI, that will enable the

user to work on clicks and make the software easy to use

Feasibility Study
The aim of the feasibility study is to determine whether it would be finacially and technically feasible to develop the software.

Technical Feasibility
Software requires minimum hardware configuration

which almost all computer possess. Supports all Operating System.

It required programming on java which will be easy to handle. Easy to Install

Operational Feasibility
Person using the text editor does not require

extra technical or computer skill. It can be easily operated. User will become skilled automatically to using it gradually.

Economical Feasibility
The text editor software has a very low development cost. As the system is very user friendly and easy to use, there is no need to provide special training to the users about its feature, thus saving valuable time and money.

Scheduled Feasibility
An evaluation of the time needed for the development of this project. The time schedule required for the development of this project is very important, since more development time effects machine time, costs and delays in the development of the other systems. So the project should be complete with in a fixed schedule time as far as the organization is concerned.

Functional Requirement
USER
The User launches the Text Editor application to create a new document or load ones already stored on disk.

A text Document is required ,that is, to be edited .

Compatible pc which can run the text editor.

Usability
The text editor application must support mouse-driven interaction as well as keyboard interaction, to broaden the user base.

Conclusion
Many organisations now use computers to produce and organise written material, correspondence, membership lists and so on. This software deals with the most common programme of word processing, that is used on most computers. It is written for people who have not used the programme before and has very basic information about the keyboard and text editor.
