PORTFOLIO SKETCH (ART 2)


In your sketchbook, create a planning sketch for your portfolio. Your sketch should include: 1. Your REAL first name using one of the lettering styles in the lettering packet (Use a ruler). Use a baseline/cap height/meanline for your letters. 2. Your three pictures drawn from observation (Interest, culture and future). 3. Draw large (This includes your name)! Fill the space (Balance your page). 4. Use details. 5. Color your design using colored pencil. 6. Use good craftsmanship!

PORTFOLIO CRITERIA (ART 1 & ART 2)

After you make your portfolio, and finish your sketch, draw your design on your portfolio using pencil. Include: 1. Your REAL first name using one of the lettering styles in the lettering packet (Use a ruler, and a baseline/cap height/meanline) 2. Your three pictures drawn from observation (Interest, culture and future). 3. Draw large (This includes your name)! Fill the space (Balance your page). 4. Use details. 5. Use good craftsmanship!

PORTFOLIO SHARPIE AND COLOR (ART 2)

- Finish sketching your design in pencil on your portfolio. - Use sharpie to outline EVERYTHING your drew on your portfolio (including details: Large Sharpie for outlines/shadows, small sharpie for details). - Color 90% of your portfolio (symbols and name) with watercolor OR colored pencil and watercolor. Use one of the techniques that we learned in class. You may leave 10% blank/white. - Be neat, use good craftsmanship.
