Sibgha means "dye" or "colour The Arab Christians used to mix a dye or color in the baptizing water to signify that the baptized person got a new color in life. The Qur'anic remarks here refer to this institution.

Mixing the right colors is the key to get the exact shade Now the cloth is boiled for sufficient amount of time Care & Maintenance, washing, drying instructions

Seeking proper knowledge is essential

We might be tested, but must not give up. Preserve, Practice & Implement according to Quran, Sunnah

The Color (Religion) of Allah

It should define our every behavior

We need to be completely immersed in it. O you who have believed, enter into Islam completely (2:208)

(139. Say (O Muhammad to the Jews and Christians), "Dispute you with us about Allah while He is our Lord and your Lord And we are to be rewarded for our deeds and you for your deeds. And we are sincere to Him (i.e. we worship Him alone and none else, and we obey His orders).'')

1. The earlier ayahs have established that the religion of all these prophets was Islam 2. The earlier Shariahs have now been cancelled/overwritten and the title of Islam has been specially given to deen of Muhammad (SAW) 3. Are the Jews & the Christians still going to continue in their stubbornness and deny this? 4. Are they still going to argue about Allah? Allah asks Muhammad (SAW) to say that he is the Lord of ALL

5. On the Day of Judgement everyone will be judged according to their own deeds & sincerity( Ikhlas), Jews, Christians, Muslims
6. In the end Muslims announce that they are sincere i.e. they worship Allah alone and none else, and obey His orders

The Jews & Christians like to show special allegiance to Ibrahim, Ismail, Ishaq, Yaqub and their children. They claim that only if you become a Jew or a Christian, you can be guided

But all these prophets were NEITHER Jew NOR Christian. They came before Musa(AS) or Isa(AS) The People of the Book know that the deen of these prophets was Islam (pure Tauheed) and the coming of Muhammad (SAW) is mentioned in their scriptures Yet they conceal the truth As Muslims we cannot change Quran, as Allah has promised to preserve it. But we can fall into similar trap. We prefer NOT to talk about something, over others.

That was a nation who has passed away. They shall receive the reward of what they earned and you of what you earn. And you )141( will not be asked of what they used to do

This Ayah is a repetition of Ayah# 133. warning us all to take care of our deeds instead of relying on our ancestral glory

Bani Israel took pride in their history but did NOT follow thro. They did not translate it into action.

We, Muslims are doing the same nowadays. We obsess about Muhammad(SAW), praise him, take pride in him We genuinely love him! But do NOT try to emulate him

Just Love is NOT enough! We have to act upon it too! Each one of us sows its own seeds
