Question 1: Do you think quality of employees would improve if they spent fewer hours working?

Answer: Fewer work hours for people with jobs is a key step toward solving the unemployment crisiswhile giving Americans and worldwide healthier or quality lives. Fewer hours means more jobs are available to people who need them. Living on less pay usually means consuming less, making more of the things one needs at home, and living lighter, whether by design or by accident.

Today, driven both by necessity and the deliberate choice to live simply, more workers are shifting toward fewer work hours. Its a trend that, if done correctly, could get us out of our current economic crisis and away from unsustainable economic growth. And obviously it improves the quality of employers.

Questions 2: Do you think the government should mandate the work hours of an individuals? Why or why not? Do you think the French parliament was right to eliminate the 35-hour work time limit?

Answer: The 35-hour workweek, meant to create new jobs, hardly made a dent in unemployment, which still stands at more than 10 percent -- nearly double the U.S. rate. And not everyone is thrilled about working even 35 hours.

Regarding the French employee benefits the 35 hour week would have been nice most employees says. The Federal jobs they worked overtime without pay to advance, the civilian jobs it worked discourage such incentive, and there the 35 hour week would have been welcome.

Questions 3: Do you think employees have an obligation to consider the quality of life of their employees? Could such an obligation mean protecting employees from being over worked?
Answer: When we think of these factors, we think of employees that have managed to agree that they would like more control over how many hours and the number of hours they work in a week. In example, one worker worked with a person some years ago who was clocking a consistent 50-55 hours a week in a six day week.

The following are the sad consequences of employees being overworked:

increased mistakes angry at employers for expecting so much from them resent coworkers who do not work as hard increased stress levels symptoms of clinical depression

Questions 4: What do you think companies like IBM should do in India to relive the stress of their employees?
Answer: No, IBM company does not relive the stress of their employees.
