with replicated data gives you the most reliable environment you can get.

Double-Take Replication
Primary Double-Take Server Backup Double-Take Server

TCP/IP Network
Data is queued on the primary machine if there is limited bandwidth for transmission.

Double-Take Replication
Primary Double-Take Server Backup Double-Take Server

TCP/IP Network
Data is transmitted at network speed. Scheduling and bandwidth limiting tune Double-Take for your particular network requirements.

Double-Take Replication
Primary Double-Take Server Backup Double-Take Server

TCP/IP Network
A 2k-byte block is written to a large file on the primary machine. Only the 2k-byte block is transmitted, reducing network bandwidth use

Double-Take Flexibility

WAN

One-to-One
One machine may be a dedicated backup, or both machines may be providing disaster recovery for the other.

WAN

Daisy Chain
Tie machines together in a chain, each one passing along data received from the previous.

WAN Daisy Chain

Use in a WAN environment to provide a local backup as well as a remote backup.

WAN

One-to-Two
Send data to multiple locations from a single source. Provide data data distribution.

WAN

One-to-Many
Send data to multiple locations from a single source. Provide data data distribution.

WAN

Many-to-One
Centralize data from multiple servers to a single machine. Provides disaster recovery and centralized backup.

DTCL Script Function

Make sure replication from node that previously owned the group is stopped. Connect from node that now owns the group to the same target. Start replication and a fast mirror to make sure that synchronization is maintained.
