Taqleed to accept anothers statement without
demanding proof or evidence, on belief that the statement is being made in accordance with fact and proof.


O you who believe! Obey Allah, obey the Messenger and those of authority amongst you. (Surah Nisa, 59)

And if you dispute, then refer it to Allah and the Messenger if you do really believe in Allah and in the last day. (Surah Nisa, 59)

Ibn Taymiyya (ra) fatwa


Some people follow at one time an Imaam who holds marriage invalid, and at a another time they follow an Imaam who holds it valid. They do so only to serve there individual purpose and satisfy there desires. Such a practice is not permissible according to the consensus of the Imaams.
