BAMBOO PLY
It is ideal for paneling ceiling , furniture, cots, doors, auto body building etc. It is strong and durable than plywood. It exhibits endurance in all weather conditions. an excellent furnishing material. It is very economical than wood. produced in the Bamboo Board Factory Product has been exported to Kenya & Maldives. Now selling in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu States.

FLATTENED BAMBOO BOARD

Flattened bamboo board is mainly used for shuttering purpose. It is made by bamboo strips . The strips are made in feeder units of KCBC. Flattened bamboo board is manufactured at Bamboo Board Factory, Angamaly in various thickness such as 12mm and 16mm and in 8*4 size. It is a wood substitute.

BAMBOO MAT
Bamboo mats are mainly used for dunnage purpose and for covering temporary shelters. Food Corporation of India (FCI) and Central/State warehousing corporations use these mats for dunnage purpose. Sugar mills in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu use mats for covering temporary shelters during sugar seasons.

Mat weavers and reed cutters are the back bone of KSBC. But now the young generation people do not show any interest towards the traditional activities . some organizations engaged in the manufacturing of bamboo ply.
