The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with policy, procedures and documentation relating to foreign trade operations, and to train them to handle the export-import business. Student will get to know about the latest development and the emerging trends in the foreign markets. Students will get familiarize with the framework for planning of export house, custom clearance and excise clearance procedure.

Objective:
In todays dynamics and knowledge based industrial environment, IPRs are key elements to maintain the competitive edge of any industry. IPRs impart success to the business enterprise by creating and preserving exclusive markets. The students will get to know about how to manage IPRs and use it to get competitive advantage over its competitors. This course will provide knowledge about various laws related to trade mark, patents, copyrights, geographical indication and trade secrets. To make students understand about various agreements of WTO with developed, developing and under developed nation and how WTO is working to make international trade smooth.
