What is? How do we use it? How can we can earn it?

Electricity is the set of physical phenomena associated with the presence and flow of electric charge. Electricity gives a wide variety of well-known effects, such aslightning, static electricity, electromagnetic induction and the flow of electrical current. In addition, electricity permits the creation and reception of electromagnetic radiation such as radio waves. In electricity, charges produce electromagnetic fields which act on other charges. Electricity occurs due to several types of physics: electric charge: a property of some subatomic particles, which determines their electromagnetic interactions. Electrically charged matter is influenced by, and produces, electromagnetic fields. electric current: a movement or flow of electrically charged particles, typically measured in amperes. electric field (see electrostatics): an especially simple type of electromagnetic field produced by an electric charge even when it is not moving (i.e., there is noelectric current). The electric field produces a force on other charges in its vicinity. Moving charges additionally produce a magnetic field. electric potential: the capacity of an electric field to do work on an electric charge, typically measured in volts. electromagnets: electrical currents generate magnetic fields, and changing magnetic fields generate electrical currents In electrical engineering, electricity is used for: electric power where electric current is used to energise equipment electronics which deals with electrical circuits that involve active electrical components such as vacuum tubes, transistors, diodes and integrated circuits, and associated passive interconnection technologies.

Electrical use varies from model to model. I thought this would be obvious, but in hundreds of blogs and forums people say things like, "Mr. Electricity says a computer uses 150 watts," which is a mischaracterization. The calculator and table figures are just examples.
Some devices use varying amounts of electricity. An easy example is an oven, whose energy use depends on how high you crank it. Perhaps a less obvious example is a washing machine, which effectively uses phenomenally more energy if you wash in hot rather than cold. Then there's the refrigerator, which alternates between periods of full energy use while the compressor is running, and then next to nothing when the compressor shuts off. (To solve this problem for fridges, the calculator lists the average wattage over time, not the higher amount used when the compressor runs.)

Saving electricity will not only save you money, but will also help with the rising power cuts, as the country needs to cut energy use by 10% for the current system to cope. Saving electricity will also give you a warm fuzzy feeling, as you will be doing your bit to conserve natural resources, i.e. coal, and reducing the impact energy consumption has on the environment, slowing down global warming.

Electricity is measured in units of power called watts (W) 1 000 watts = 1 kilowatt (kW) 1 kilowatt hour (kWh) = 1000W or 1kW working for one hour Electricity is measured in kilowatt hours, and on your electricity bill each kilowatt hour is shown as one unit. All household appliances are rated in watts or kilowatts. This will indicate how much electricity the appliance uses in a certain amount of time. For example, a 1kW kitchen appliance uses one unit of electricity an hour. A 100 watt light bulb uses one unit of electricity every 10 hours. Usually the rating is shown on the appliance, the higher the rating, the more electricity it will use.

Saving energy does not only help people save money from their monthly electricity bills but also help the environment. In this article, I will discuss the methods on how to save energy to help the environment and get valuable discounts in your electricity bill. We are all aware of the availability of different sources of renewable energy in the market such as wind turbines and solar panels. However, these kinds of energy savers promoted by most solar companies that consistently bug you over phones are truly expensive. In fact, it could even cost you over $16,000 for just the installation of the panel. Indeed, it will drop your monthly bill in electricity but it will take you a number of years to recover from the investment that you made. So, what could probably be your other options? Comparison of your markets would be a good initial action in doing so. You have the choice to call various suppliers of energy to get quotes. You can also find comparisons by browsing the Internet where you can enter information once and you can get reviews of all the prices. Calling is often times more practical, as several energy companies have tariffs which they intentionally do not advertise but are required to be given if a person asks them. Another way to save energy is by upgrading your appliances. Each household has an old refrigirator that seems immortal; hence we keep on using it. However, not most people know that appliances such as your refrigirators and washing machines that are more that ten years old, draw almost double the consumption of energy. Simple ways like defrosting your freezer could also be an efficient way to save energy. You could also use energy saving bulbs since lighting is an enormous part of everyones electricity bills. Instead of using incandescent bulbs, it is better to use flourescent light bulbs as it consumes lesser energy.

in conclusion saving electricity is not only an option is our responsability to do that. This planet is our responsability and there are different ways to it we can reduce our carbon print if we only change our mind and we realice that no body will help us this time we need to do it by our selves and maybe saving electricity might be the only thing we can do to save this rock that scientist call Earth and we call HOME becuse that is our only responsability take care of our Home and also protect it.
