A Study On Training & Development Activities at J.K. Cement Works

Company Introduction
The initial J.K. stands for father-son team, namely: Mr. Juggilal Kamala path Singaniya Started there business as a financier,Investor,Trading Supplier of cotton belts and J.K. organization started in the year 1884 at Calcutta In the year 1914 they shifted their business from Calcutta to Kanpur where they established many industries like In the year 1934 J.K. organization started one more division, as J.K. Synthetic ltd. They established various big plant of Nylon, Acrylic fiber, etc.at Kota and Tire Core, Chemical and Pesticides at Jhalawar. In the year 1974 under the same division one more unit was started for manufacturing of Gray Cement at Nimbahera.

Objectives
To study the importance of T&D for the Benefits of the organization Delineate the different stages in a T&D Outline the areas and type of training Identify the need for training List the various training method that are currently employed

Suggestion
All employees should be trained so that there is over all development of employee which is beneficial to organization too. Company should increase the promotional and advertisement activities for giving the popularity to the product. Training should be made without the disturbing official work . Proper malignance of suggestion box and should be locked.

Conclusion
1. Infrastructure facility of T & D at top mgmt is good rather than workers 2. This organization has special department Regional training center for giving training for employees. 3. The strange of workers are maximum to be apart of this organization in future. 4. The satisfaction level of top mgmt is higher then workers 5. Company used both On the job & Off the job methods of training.
