(145. And even if you were to bring to the People of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) all
the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), they would not follow
your Qiblah (prayer direction), nor are you going to follow their Qiblah. And they will not
follow each other's Qiblah. Verily, if you follow their desires after that which you have
)received of knowledge (from Allah), then indeed you will be one of the wrongdoers.

worship none but Allah (Alone), and that we associate no partners with Him, and that

(146. Those to whom We gave the Scripture (Jews and Christians) recognise him
(Muhammad or the Ka`bah at Makkah) as they recognize their sons. But verily, a
party of them conceal the truth while they know it i.e., the qualities of
Muhammad which are written in the Tawrah and the Injil ).

According to Al-Qurtubi, it was narrated that `


Umar said to `Abdullah bin Salam (an Israelite scholar who became a Muslim),
"Do you recognize Muhammad as you recognize your own son''

He replied, "Yes, and even more.


The Honest One descended from heaven on the Honest One on the earth with his
(i.e., Muhammad's) description and I recognized him, although I do not know
anything about his mother's story.''

Prophet Muhammad (SAW):
The Lord said to me [Moses]:
What they say is good. I will raise up for them a Prophet
like you among their brothers; I will put My words in his
mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If
anyone does not listen to My words that the Prophet speaks
in My Name, I will Myself call him to account.

(149. And from wheresoever you start forth (for prayers), turn your face in the
direction of Al-Masjid Al-Haram (at Makkah), that is indeed the truth from your
Lord. And Allah is not unaware of what you do.)
