What article is targeting: Lack of jobs Increasing unemployment in Pakistan Underpaid jobs Negative portrayal of Pakistans economy Those

Those working are not being paid on time Lack of pays in public sector

Counter statements: That applies anywhere, in us millions of people are still out of job, they are suppose to be the worlds best economy but seriously are they??? Unemployment and not the economy in general ranked as the most important problem facing Americans for the second month in a row, according to a Gallup poll in US. When asked to name the biggest problem facing the country, Gallup poll found that 35 percent of Americans said unemployment.

Counter statement: The per capita income, which is a very strong indicator of the economic health of a people, is still higher in pakistan than in india. while in your country 400 million people have no access what so ever to any type of decent toilet, the problem is non existent in pakistan. the people living under poverty line in pakistan is between 17 -22 % while 44 percent in india live at less than half dollar a day.

Counter statements: Why always target Pakistan? Why not India or any other asian country like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Poverty ratio 29.8% in INDIA 22.3% in PAKISTAN Andhra Pradeshs population 8.46 crore and 95 percent people are below poverty line. These Statistics are available by state civil supplies department of India, which monitors the public distribution system.

The

World Bank conducted a study of 57 countries that had economic problems the study concluded that the Pakistani economy was the most weather resistant of all. Even while the US kept us under sanctions for the most part of our history, the wish of our enemies to see Pakistan defaulting is as elusive as ever. The Pakistani economy is still growing at almost 4 % per year, the per capita income is still better than that of India and we still can export the surplus of edibles like, wheat, rice and sugar.

What this article is targetting: what this article briefly explains is that from the Pakistani government officials to the black marketers everyone is going to benefit from the NATO supply reopening. What they wish to highlight is that Pakistani s are not bothered about, their national interest rather they are more bothered about their personal interest and are more keen then the US for the reopening of the NATO supply.

To

an extent this article have objectivity that is people of Pakistan want the reopening of NATO supply because many people earn their bread and butter by selling the stuff from the NATO containers .But that does not mean the entire Pakistan supports this decision and it is not only Pakistan that is suffering . Pakistans Border Closures Cost US Millions Monthly now this statement is something you wont be hearing or being discussed in news.

The

article very tactfully portrays that Pakistan is totally reliant on US however this article fails to show the other side ,the side which tells you how much loss US suffered from the closure. In late November 2011, when Islamabad took decision to shut down the two key Pakistan border crossings have resulted in the U.S and NATO using alternate routes to get critical supplies, including fuel and food to our troops serving on the front lines.

In

an article published by the Associated Press on January 19, 2012, the Pentagon revealed new figures showing that it is now costing approximately $104 million dollars per month to send supplies through the alternate northern route. Considering it cost us approximately $17 million prior to the closures, that is an increase cost of $87 million dollars per month. Apart from the losses suffered by US the International media also fails to highlight how there were huge protests by native Americans against NATO and its continued barbarianism in different parts of world i.e. Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The

people demonstrating against them were not Mullahs neither they were Talibans nor they belonged to Pakistan extremist groups they were born and bred Americans who have now realized that war on terror is actually war of lies. American media tried their level best to change the public opinion with all their resources and their 24/7 news channels even paid journalists failed to cover-up the deceptions of Obama administration and Pentagon.

This

article shows a more POSITIVE aspect of Pakistans society, and eradicates the idea that women in Pakistan only sit at home or dont have any contribution to the economy, but instead shows that with the help of women, businesses have gone into a more serious boom and that Pakistan is still in a stage of development, but its women are far ahead in its race for improvement.

The

article focuses on the challenges that are being faced by the Pakistani women and how they are changing from housewives into working women. Conservatism still continues to exist but women are becoming more and more aware of their rights and are stepping into various fields of life outside homes. People have started to accept women working in modern day jobs in Pakistan, this leads to a very positive aspect of the Pakistani society in general and shows that no matter what is happening in the world today, or how the global issues regarding Pakistan views its changing developments, it is still on the run to development.

Women

now get to contribute to the household, and as men are more likely to be the head of the household, it is expected of them to take care of the family as yet, the women of the house get to spend the share of their income moderately on themselves. However, the statistics only show the average of middle class women that are working, and not the other half or majority of women working in rural areas, where life is still particularly hard, and having jobs outside the confinement of their four walled house, still a big deal.

But

many of these women get to work in the agriculture sector of the economy, with fairly less income than those of men. women who still have home based jobs are not taken into account while calculating the development of working women in Pakistan.
