Gay and Bisexual men with HIV

In a CDC study looking at HIV prevalence in 15-22 year old men who have sex with men (MSM), 7.2% were HIV positive, with even higher percentages for African-American and Hispanic MSM

Gays and Cancer Gay and Bisexual men have higher rates of anal cancer (associated with HPV infection), non-Hodgkins lymphoma, and Hodgkins disease compared to heterosexual men. Further, their 5-year survival rate with nonHodgkins lymphoma and Hodgkins disease is significantly reduced.

Lesbians and STDs Although lesbians who have sex only with women are thought to be at relatively low risk for contracting syphilis, chlamydia, and gonorrhea, there is documented transmission of HPV and bacterial vaginosis (BV) between women. In fact, rates of BV are significantly higher in lesbians than in heterosexual women (18-36% vs. 16%).

Religious & moral education

Children should be sent to religious classes from a young age.

All religions teach their followers not to go against ones nature.

What does the bible have to say about this issue? Lev. 20:13 , "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them" 1 Cor. 6:9-10 , "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

Parental care, concern; initiatives

Parents should make an effort to expose and educate their children on this matter. Especially once they have reached the age of puberty. Many parents see this act as something which is wrong and inappropriate or unnecessary.

Thats is where the whole problem starts.

Get advice, seek help!

Advice, feedbacks and opinions from professionals would help a great deal. One can or should, in fact, consult doctors, psychiatrists and even counselors regarding their troubles on this issue. Right advice would bring about the right results.

Choose your environment wisely

This is the most vital step in preventing this issue from spreading further. One should be wise and be cautious of his/her environment.

E.g. If a guy were to live in a community of gay men, then he would most probably be influenced into being one.
One should stay away from those sort of environments to prevent any unwanted tragedies such as homosexuality.

Constitute worldwide constitutional laws

On 2004, six states Connecticut, Iowa, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Vermont in the US allowed same-sex marriage. California was granted its green light on 2008. However, there are about 76 countries in the world which prohibit homosexuality, many of which are in the African and Asian continents. Government bodies of the world should understand that this issue is politically incorrect and should be prevented. Thus, by enforcing laws strict laws on this issue, nature will not be defied and the citizens of the world will be able to form a better world in the future.
