for knotting bamboo members ultimate strength nominal width nominal thickness Overlapping posts/standards ledgers/braces/rakers distance between two knottings on the overlapping portion of the bamboo members 1.5~2m >2m <300mm > 50 Kgf 5.5~6.0mm 0.85~1.0mm 1. All knots should be tightened with at least 5 rounds of nylon strips (tight & secure)

2. The ends of the nylon strips should be crossed and twisted to form a single twisted end which passes through the knot twice to give one round turn for proper anchorage
1. any two of members should be tied up first and then the remaining one should be tied up on top of them 2. tail of one bamboo member should be connected to the head of the other
