1. COTTAGES
A cottage is usually a modest, often cosy dwelling, typically in a rural or semi-rural location.
In certain places (e.g. Eastern Canada and Russia) the term "cottage can refer to a vacation/summer home, often located near a body of water. However, in the USA, generally this is more commonly called a "cabin", "chalet", or even "camp".

2.BUNGALOW
A bungalow is a type of house, which is detached, low-rise (single or one-and-a-half stories), and has verandahs. The origin of the word is Indian, from Gujarati, and in turn from Hindi, meaning Bengali" and means a "house in the Bengal style. The term was first found in English from 1696, where it . was used to describe "bungales or hovells" in India. Later it became used for the spacious homes or official lodgings of officials of the British Raj, and was so known in Britain and later America, where it initially had high status . and began to be used in the late 19th , century for large country or suburban houses ,as large cottages. .

Bungalow with 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms with a large living room. The master has 1 bathroom. Large under roof front terrace, back side small kitchen terrace.

3.Villas
A villa was originally an ancient Roman upper-class country house. A 'villa' can refer to a various types and sizes of residences, ranging from the suburban "semi-detached" double villa to residences.
4. Mansions
A mansion is a very large house of over 8,000 square feet. A traditional European mansion was defined as a house which contained a ballroom and many bedrooms.
Mansions built nowdays have specially designed areas for leisure activities eg

swimming pool home theatre. library office, cinema tennis courts gardens

2. Privacy: The detached houses have more privacy and planting trees or shrubs around the house can create a very private atmosphere.
3. Affordable Maintaining a bungalow is affordable. Because of its moderate and open space, they have fairly modest heating and cooling requirements. 4. Good Investment The property value of bungalow homes is not likely to decline. 5. Large plot size: Because of the nature of the foundations ,the overall size of the plot the property is built on will be larger than for a more conventional house.

2. Amenities such as pools and playgrounds are usually absent.Gardens are at the owner's expense.
3.More Energy: Single family houses are likely to require much more energy to heat in cold weather than do buildings with shared walls. 4. Increased car use: People who live in single-family houses are much more likely to own a car rather than walking, biking, or using transport to commute. 5.More Land: this type need more land which could have been used for agriculture or as natural habitat.
