VIDEO SHOW
larva: young stage -- this is when most of the feeding is done (they usually look like worms)
Continue
pupa: inactive (no feeding) stage between larva and adult stages (usually well camouflaged) adult: final, breeding stage (they usually grow wings)
Egg: frogs lay their eggs in water or wet places. A floating clump of eggs is called frog spawn.
Tadpole: has a long tail, and lives in the water. Tadpole will be developed in the 21 days
Continue
Metamorph: after about five weeks, it starts to grow hind legs, followed with forelegs (becomes even more froglike)
Adult: eleven weeks after the egg was laid, a fully developed frog emerges from the water.
Larvae: occur in all kinds of standing water, such as; ditches, woodland pools and unkept bird baths - anything that holds water for more than a week.
Continue
Pupa: In about 7-10 days after the eggs hatch, larvae change to pupa Adult: The female mosquito begins to seek out an animal to feed on several days after emerging from the water.
