Artificial intelligence
A system that makes it possible for a machine to perform functions similar to human intelligence.
in rational way
The Rover was a remote-controlled robot used by NASA to explore the surface of Mars.
2. Vision Systems
Include hardware and software that permit computers to capture, store, and manipulate visual images and pictures.
3.Natural language processing Computers understand and react to statements and commands made in a natural language, such as English.
The goal of NLP is to enable people and computers to communicate in a natural (humanly) language(such as, English) rather than in a computer language.
4. Learning system Computer changes how it functions or reacts to situations based on feedback.
5. Neural network Computer system that can act like or simulate the functioning of the human brain.
6. Expert Systems Consists of hardware and software that stores knowledge and makes inferences, similar to a human expert.
EXPERT SYSTEMS An Expert System is a computer program designed to act as an expert in a particular domain (area of expertise).Expert systems currently are designed to assist experts, not to replace them, They have been used in medical diagnosis, chemical analysis, geological explorations etc.
For more complex problems, things get more difficult... Unlike humans, computers have trouble understanding specific situations, and adapting to new situations.
Artificial machines perform tasks efficiently and reliably
Why Artificial Intelligence?
Artificial Intelligence aims to improve machine behavior in tackling such complex tasks.
Brain-Car Interface: Engineers at Nissan and EPFL in Switzerland are designing mind-car communication technology to anticipate a driver's next move
Advantages
it can help improve our way of life machines will be able to do jobs that require detailed instructions
mental alertness and decision making capabilities. Use robots for heavy construction, military benefits, or even for personal assistance at private homes.
Advantages
Many of our health problems now have possible solutions with the use of Artificial Intelligence in studies at universities scientists have been using AI to test theories and notions about how our brains work AI opens up new and exciting avenues for entertainment possibilities. AI also makes interactive electronic games more fun by making the computer controlled characters more realistic and human-like .
TURING TEST
Proposed by Alan Turing(1950), a British Computer Scientist. The test was devised in response to the question, Can a computer think ?.
TURING TEST
One person sits at a computer and types the questions.
The problem of simulating (or creating) intelligence has been broken down into a number of specific sub-problems.
Early AI researchers developed Algorithms that imitated the step-by-step reasoning that human beings use when they solve puzzles, play board games or make logical deductions.
2. Knowledge Representation Many of the problems machines are expected to solve will require extensive knowledge about the world.
Intelligent agents must be able to set goals and achieve them. They need a way to visualize the future and be able to make choices that maximize the utility (or "value") of the available choices.
4. Learning
Machine learning has been central to AI research from the beginning. The mathematical analysis of machine learning algorithms and their performance is a branch of theoretical computer science known as computational learning theory
Natural language processing gives machines the ability to read and understand the languages that the human beings speak.
Machine perception is the ability to use input from sensors (such as cameras, microphones etc.) to deduce aspects of the world.
8. Creativity
A sub-field of AI addresses creativity both theoretically and practically (via specific implementations of systems that generate outputs that can be considered creative).
Since 1996, Daleel Teq has established itself as a technology pioneer in the development, creation and maintenance of high quality Data Sets &Technology Solutions for the Middle East and Africa.

GIS is a particular form of Information System applied to geographical data. An Information System is a set of processes, executed on raw data to produce information which will be useful when making decisions. A system is a group of connected entities and activities which interact for a common purpose.

Unit enables the drivers to know exactly where they are at all times even if they are new to the route. Can receive new route co-ordinates to deliver to unplanned locations
CONCLUSION
AI systems can perform useful work in a very large and complex world.AI is now used by every where because of technology advancement every thing is done by Computerized systems even in Utility Stores , education , Offices , Hospitals now even in our daily uses. With the help of AI People are able to Explore other planets. Through AI many problems can be solved and work become easy for us.AI is also a source of Entertainment through playing games.
