Executive Summary
Agricultural finance a vital role in Indian economy. Agricultural sector Importance role in India, Indian banking help to farmer develop the farm. Various banks provide agricultural loan State bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Bank of Baroda, & other Nationalized Bank, co-operative Bank & Privet Bank. Bank of Maharashtra provides cash credit & Term loan, Bank help to develop the rural aria.

Introduction of topic study.


History of Agriculture 10,000 years ago the man invented agriculture. A primitive form of agriculture was shifting cultivation of crops. After few years when these plots lost fertility & heavily infected with grass and soil born pests, the cultivator would shift to new site. It is the backbone of Indian economy. (B) Agriculture in India
Agriculture is prime source of live hood of most of the population in India. It provides food for population fodder & also other needs like fibre, fuel, timber, and wood & row materials to various industries. 60% of the Indian population is engaged in agriculture & agro based industries. At present it occupied 35% shares of the Indian economy. India is exporting fruits, Tea, Coffee, Basmati rice & also many other agriculture commodities, which help to get foreign exchange.

Objectives of the project study


To study how bank provide the capital loan to farmer.
To study & analyze the development of the rural area under this bank. To study & analyze the financial position of the branch and all over India. To Study & analyze the financial condition of farmer who takes agricultural loan from Bank of Maharashtra.

Secondary Data: It is the data which is already present in the secondary form like newspaper, journals, newsletters which are derived by any other person or institute. It was already exists and it is in processed form. The researcher has only to decide that how it will be handled to appraise the project. Secondary data was provided by the Bank.
