Lord of Light (1967) is a science fictionfantasy novel by American author Roger Zelazny.

It was awarded the 1968 Hugo Award for Best Novel and nominated for a Nebula Award in the same category. Zelazny's close friend (and fellow science fiction/fantasy author) George R. R. Martin describes in his afterword to how Zelazny once told him that the entire novel sprang from a single pun: the fit hit the Shan. The context of the novel modern western characters in a Hindu-Buddhist-infused world was brought to life by Jack Kirbys artwork.

The period film X by Ram Charan Teja features the legendary song by his father. The father-son duo feature in the song Y and break into a dance duel repeating the same steps as in the old version of the song. One of the selling points of this film was the use of the song Y and the special guest appearance of this superstar.

Most of Xs poetry is for adults, as it is serious and quite difficult to understand. However, in Y , which is a part of his collection Hymns and Darkness ,X uses simple Indian English-capturing with pitch-perfect accuracy its quirks and nuances . There are grammatical mistakes, strange arrangements of words ,phrases and idioms which are direct translations of expressions in Indian languages. The poem is essentially a speech made by a well wisher to a friend who is departing for foreign .

Samira Kanwar who runs Babble Fish said that the story line has already been decided.It followed the journey of X through Goa following a brass wedding band to whom they have given their musical instruments to. She saysWe had managed to source only three musicians to be part of the wedding band at short notice, so, after a lot of begging and pleading, one of our camera attendants reluctantly gave in to being in front of the camera rather than behind it. The costumes had been flown down from Mumbai and managed to reach us very late the night before, but thankfully on time for the shoot. After shooting the initial bit where Winston (after diligently rehearsing) speaks to the wedding band in Hindi, it was easy sailing X watched in amusement as the wedding band performed their song brilliantly and were mildly surprised as watching the final cut of the video.

Eugne Franois Vidocq was a French criminal and criminalist The former criminal became the head of the first known private detective agency. Vidocq is considered to be the father of modern criminology and of the French police department. Why is this piece of information in a Lit Ent quiz . Well,
X captured the essence of Vidocq in two of his characters in Y. Like Vidocq's early years spent on the run, lived under the constant threat of exposure after being randed as a thief . He had achieved wealth and status by the time the police inspector, , caught up with him.. The inspector even disguised himself as a revolutionary in order to infiltrate the barricades, much like Vidocq would do in the slums of Paris.

X , although Polish by birth , is considered one of the greatest English language novelists .His literary style is unique as most of his stories uses his sailor's experiences as a backdrop, thrives with melancholy and skepticism and his principal characters were subjected to lethal fates. Y, a pioneer of short stories , once said "Medicine is my lawful wife and literature is my mistress." (Y was a doctor by profession). He articulated a dramatic principle that is used in story structure. Z , needed a Non Asian name as a cover up , in the midst of widespread criticism and controversy . The name he created, is a part of X and a part of Y . What it is ?

Keeping himself busy with Awakening with Brahma Kumaris, X has got back to the film screen after 10 years with a role that is considered to be the role of God. X has mentioned that during shooting, he prayed everyday seeking blessings as he felt he didnt deserve the job, trying to do the role spiritually, abstaining from drinking and non vegetarian food. Being accepted is the biggest hurdle X has had to pass and is hoping his performance will justify the role.

This role in the controversial American cult sensation was ultimately bagged by experienced X. Being only 12 years old, a UCLA psychiatrist had to confirm that Xs morals would not be undermined by playing the part after a four hour long interview. It was only after this that the Los Angeles Welfare Board allowed X to act. According to other rules, it was realized that X could not do the required nude scenes as she was under 18 years old. The studio/director hence decided to allow Xs elder sister to play the role who was above.

X is from Ys debut album released on EMI Virgin India in Jan 2009 The song tells the story of a river, whose waters have been disputed for years, a tender issue back here at home. The song was featured in a music video by Global Water Challenge to highlight water woes that the world faces due to its distinct depiction of a young girl journey to bring back water.

X is an award winning Israeli drama series. The series, set in 2008, depicts three Israeli soldiers who were captured seventeen years ago while on a mission with their unit in Lebanon. The story begins with their return home. Nimrod Klein and Uri Zach return alive, while Amiel Ben-Horin their comrade, has been killed. The series explores the reintegration of Nimrod and Uri into a society which has made them national icons, and into an interrupted family life, while working through the trauma of being held captive and tortured. On a personal level they have to deal with partners who waited or moved on, children who have grown up without them, and parents who have died.

X is a character from a multi million dollar franchise, and made his first appearance in 1983. X however has gained status as a recently due to his memetic dialogue in his first appearance. More than 1,000 fan videos have been created on YouTube featuring or parodying X and that dialogue. When the University of Mississippi begun to find a new mascot in 2010, some students started a campaign to have X selected. The campaign quickly went viral and received media attention and _________ issued a tonguein-cheek statement about the matter which read "The last time we checked in with X he was leading the Rebel Alliance Fleet on a critical mission so it will be difficult for him to show up for the games!

The Spirit of the Beehive is a 1973 Spanish drama film directed by Victor Erice. Having been a major impact on the director of X, he decided to pay tribute to it as well.
