Brainstorming Unstructured approach to generate ideas about a problem for creative solution. - process involved a) setting the objective b) idea generation c) Idea evaluation d) Select with consensus

Delphi Method It is a survey of experts - a series of questionnaires are used to solve difficult problems. use experts to make predictions and forecast about future events with out meeting face to face Delphi method is used for demand forecast, project market trends, identify future problems etc.. Consensus decision making It involves making a choice from available alternatives. consensus doesnt necessarily means unanimity, it means sharing of differences, listening to each other, accepting the final choice inspite of the differences.

Black boarding/ Groupware Bringing a group of experts together in a room with a large blackboard. - experts use blackboard as their work space. - each experts has an equal chance to contribute to the solution via the board.
