Frequent urination Unusual If youthirst have many of the symptoms Extreme hunger mentioned, or if you find that your family Unusual weight loss or friends have, consult a doctor Extreme fatigue and Irritability immediately! Frequent infections Blurred vision Cuts/bruises that are slow to heal Tingling/numbness in the hands/feet Recurring skin, gum, or bladder infections

Management and Prevention of Diabetes

Healthy Eating: avoiding foods high in sugars and saturated fats

Physical Activity: 30 mins of moderate activity per day

Body weight: Maintain healthy weight improves insulin resistance and reduces blood glucose
