What is a Network?
A network is a group of interconnected computers that can
communicate with each other. Computers on a local area
network (LAN) are on the same floor or in the same
building, are directly connected to a file server and share
equipment such as printers. Wide area networks (WAN)
link computers or LANs over a greater distance. Computers
may be wired directly or wireless.
