Nanorobotics: An Overview Structure of a Nanorobot

Applications of Nanorobotics
Advantages & Disadvantages Future of Nanorobotics Conclusion

Nanorobotics: An Overview
Nano + Robotics Nano = 109 nm Robotics = Machines

a) A technology of creating machines or robots at or close to the scale of nanometer ( 109 ). b) A technology of designing and building nanorobots.

Structure of a Nanorobot:

1. Molecular Sorting Rotor

2. Propellers 3. Fins 4. Sensors

Applications of Nanorobotics:
Biochips:

An approach to manufacture nanorobots for common medical applications, such as for surgical instrumentation, diagnosis and drug delivery.

Kidney Stones: Nanorobotics might carry small Ultrasonic signal generators to deliver frequencies directly to kidney stones.

Tumors: Drillers, Peepers, Stringers engaged in A dedicated surgical operation to remove Cancer tumor

Arteriosclerosis: This is caused by fatty deposits on the Walls of deposits. The device should be Able to remove these deposits from the Arteries wall.

Breaking of blood clots

Nanorobots could travel to a clot and break it up. The robot must also be small enough so that it doesn't block the flow of blood itself.

DNA Replication

DNA damage, due to environmental factors and normal metabolic processes inside the cell, can easily be cured by nanorobots. DNA computing is also possible.

Some other applications:

1. To cure skin diseases. 2. To destroy pathogenic bacteria. 3. Cleaning wounds. 4. Gout. 5. Helping the blood clot. 6. Drug delivery.

Advantages of Nanorobotics:
Miniaturizing mechanical surgery Metal oxide nanowires as chemical sensors Self-assembling

Dis-advantages of Nanorobotics:
Expensive technology Health problems Environmental impact Potential dangers

The Future

1. In medicine and industries

2. In NanoComputer 3. Reengineer our bodies

In future, nanorobots will be hundered times smaller than the one shown.

Doctors could treat everything from heart disease to cancer using tiny robots the size of bacteria.

Conclusion:
From these types of inventions, it will be useful for man to cure many diseases and to lead a healthy life. The same technique is used in various treatment like cancer, removing kidney stones, brain surgery, heart surgery. Using nanorobots is quite difficult also as it is full of dangers. However, finally we wish all the best for all scientists, who are going to implement Nano-robotics in future.
