Comprehension Questions (level two) Question that has a correct answer, but requires a couple sentences to explain. Example: How did you come to live where you currently live? Comprehension questions usually begin with the words how or why? Write a comprehension Question about an event from the reading we are using.
Levels of Questioning
Analysis questions (level three) Question with no correct answer. These are questions that have limited choices and are answered with an opinion that is supported by some evidence or logical thought. Example: Do you think that it would be better to live in Manila or Warsaw? Explain your answer. Analysis questions can begin with any word. The important thing is that they cannot have a correct answer. Write a Analysis Question about an event from the reading.

Synthesis questions (level four) Question with no correct answer. These questions have many possibilities and are answered with an opinion that is supported by some evidence or logical thought. Example: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? Analysis questions can begin with any word. The important thing is they cannot have a correct answer. (at least in the present time - they can be predictive questions) Write a Synthesis Question about an event from the reading we are using.
