Direct Beneficiaries
For every $100,000 of project funding, at least
172 children must be targeted for withdrawal or
prevention from exploitive child labor
Projects that target over 200 children for
withdrawal or prevention per $100,000 of
project funding may receive up to 5 extra points

Mentoring and Volunteering by Employees
Assistance in Awareness Raising
Provision of internships for children/youth and/or
teachers during vacation periods that would help them
improve leadership and other skills for implementing
programs to address exploitive child labor

DUNS Number or Exemption Required
For Associations, DUNS numbers must be
included for the Lead Grantee and all members
of the Association

USDOL intends to award a Cooperative
Agreement for research on exploitive child labor
and forced labor in the carpet sectors of Nepal,
Pakistan, and India
