INTRODUCTION

Everybody know about family in this time that the most married working hard to cover the cost of living that rising every year. Therefore, nursery in workplace very be required to the married couple because it can reduce monthly expenses such as gasoline and outside nursery payment. Beside that, every parents want to feel relieved because the nursery in workplace will allow us to monitor the childs condition from time to time due to the abuse many children occur. Therefore, the parents have optimal time saving because parent no longer need to take child from nursery away from workplace. When parents out to return home, they just need to stop to take their children and go home.

Objectives
1.

To provide guidance for employers in the private sector on the setting up of child care centres for their employees. To contribute towards the development of a 2. high-income economy that is socially inclusive and sustainable by promoting a family-friendly work environment. To ensure a childs care and early childhood development needs within the corporate work environment are met.

Background
With economic development, workplace child care has become a reality in advanced and developing economies where many of parents is working even wife or husband . As Malaysia is progressively moving towards becoming a developed nation by 2020 and looking to boost its female workforce participation, the provision of high-quality child care centres at the workplace is becoming a priority. In 2008, the proportion of female workforce aged 25-34 years was 62.5 %, representing an increase by 58 % compared in 2001 . In the same year, the total number of children below 5 reached about 3 million, which accounted for 11% of the total Malaysian population.

PURPOSE
By providing and analysing examples of workplace solutions for childcare, the present report aims at: increasing awareness of the possibilities for workplace programmes as well as their benefits and limitations; providing insight into the reasons why various actors, in particular employers and trade unions, have become involved; and offering greater understanding on how support for childcare has been organized and funded in a variety of workplaces

SCOPE
The scope in this research is to focused on the view based on questionnaire that has been used to surveyed a voice of working parents or husband and wife. Based on a survey conducted among employees who send their children to the childcare centre, the company discovered that there is a high satisfaction rate towards management and the childcare facilities. Parents feel at ease knowing that their children are in a safe environment and are well taken care of. More importantly, parents are able to spend time with their children when they commute daily to work and back home as well as during their lunch break.

METHODOLOGY

Background information for this project was obtained from the survey on Pitas Education District Office .

1.4.1 RESPONDENT SURVEY


Fourty respondent at Pitas Education District Office were surveyed at random during observation. A short questionnaire consisting of six item was administration orally and responses were recorded.

FINDINGS

2.1 CUSTOMER SURVEY


A questionnaire consisting of 6 items was administered to 60 customers of the SESB, during the period that observations were being carried out. A total of 100 customers were asked to complete the survey but only 60 agreed to in other words, 40 customers declined to be surveyed. A 20 example copy of the questionnaire can be found in Appendix A. Tabulation of the data from the survey can be found in Appendix B.

iii) Construction of the child care centre should be in accordance with the minimum requirements stipulated in the local authority by-laws.

(iv) There must be one supervisor, sufficient child care providers, a cook and other workers at the child care centre. The minimum number of child care providers are as follows: A minimum of 1 child care provider for every 5 children aged between 0-3 years. A minimum of 1 child care provider for every 10 children aged between 3-4 years. For disabled children, the minimum of 1 child care provider for every 4 children below the age of 4 years. (v) The child care providers shall be at least 18 years of age and attended the Basic Child Care Course accredited by the Department of Social Welfare (The minimum duration of the course is 17 working days & the fee imposed is RM 480.00).

(vi) Health and safety at the child care centre:


Have a practical scheme for evacuation purposes in the event of fire. A fire drill must be conducted once in three months. All exit points shall be free from obstructions at all times. The health of the children must be inspected everyday upon arrival at the child care centre. There must be a suitable room to separate and temporarily care for at least one sick child and the parents of the sick child must be informed immediately when a child is found to be sick. There must be at least one first aid kit which is well maintained and complete with the materials/medication supplies. A medical officer or registered medical practitioner must be notified if it is suspected that there is an infectious disease among the children or workers.

QUESTIONNAIRE RESPONSES
Based on the bar chart, every questionnaire asked to respondent has been answered politely and the answer on strongly agree was recorded at largest summary (138 answer strongly agree) respondent (blue bar). than other answer agree, disagree, strongly disagree). Followed the second largest answer is agree was recorded (89 answer agree)(red bar). Only 7 respondent answer disagree (green bar). The smallest answer strongly disagree were 6 respondent(purple bar).

SUMMARY OF FINDING
From this result respondent we know the nursery at the workplace is important and very require to make working parents more easy in many aspect:

It was assumed that respondents agree for establish the nursery at the workplace. The Pie Chart showed us the resulted of surveyed. The largest group (97%) were agree about this statement, while only (3%) strongly disagree. From the figure 2, there was clear correlation between customer numbers and percentage of agree and strongly agree. The respondent showed us the majority of them was agree nursery at the workplace.

The majority of respondent choose agree with percentages 50% and followed by strongly agree is 45%. The minority of respondent choose disagree and strongly disagree is 5% about continue to work with the child without having rush to the keeper . So, the second statement also have majority respondent that agree nursery at the workplace will give them more benefits.

The majority of respondent choose agree with percentages 60% and followed by strongly agree is 35%. The minority of respondent choose disagree and strongly disagree is 5% about the nursery at workplace will save time and money than outside nursery . So, the third statement also have majority respondent that agree nursery at the workplace .

The majority of respondent choose agree with percentages 56% and followed by strongly agree is 34% will make working parents more relieve than outside nursery . The minority of respondent choose disagree is 10% about the nursery at workplace. This is because the nursery at the workplace will give them some relieve because their children not far away and at least they can see the children . So, the fourth statement also have majority respondent that agree nursery at the workplace .

The majority of respondent choose agree with percentages 67% and followed by strongly agree is 30% will make working parents more relieve than outside nursery . The minority of respondent choose disagree is 3% about the statement. This is because the nursery at the workplace will give them to watch or monitor their children at free time and give more advantages especially when their children was sick and they can take care of them without emergency leaving.

The majority of respondent was choose agree with percentages 52% and followed by strongly agree is 40% will make working parents more relieve than outside nursery . The minority of respondent choose disagree and strongly disagree is 8% about the statement.

2.2 SUMMARY OF FINDINGS Following is a summary of the major findings of this study: It was observed that respondent are not balancing between male and female and this gender difference was reflected in the survey. More respondents (60%) were female than male (40%). Customers were predominantly in the young and middle age. 51% were aged between 49 to 30 years old. More than half of respondents agree with the nursery at the workplace can give them more benefits. 95% of respondent agree with existence the nursery at the workplace they are dont need to rushing to the keeper and then continue to work even morning or evening.

3.0 CONCLUSION

3.1 Agree to have nursery at the workplace The respondent agree to have nursery at the workplace because many of working parents have the responsibility for their children and need to make sure their children safe and comfortable. When the nursery at the workplace, the working parent have more time to be with their children and absolutely the problem spending time together with their children can be solve. 3.2 Continue to work without having rush to the keeper Everybody want to be calm, in this aspect many parents need to rushing to the keeper if their children having a problem and they need to get back to the workplace. So, if the nursery at the workplace existence , parents dont have any problem to give a little bit time to solve the problem with their children in working time.

3.3 Saving My Time And My Money In this times, global economy is not stable and need the way to survive. The nursery at the workplace is a one way to keep saving time and money, this is because the working parents can saved the time to work if they are together with their children to the workplace and the same time also nursery. The distance to come or back from work will be closer than the children that needed to be send to the outside nursery . The workings parents also can avoid late arrived to workplace.

3.3 Feel more relieves to have nursery at the workplace Many of parents prefer their children can be closer with them, at least can watch their children can make the parents more relieve. Parents can feel more relieve when they can see their children of themselves.

3.4 Parents can monitor their children easily In other aspect when their children was sick, the parents can find a free time to take care of their children and can keep the safety of their children easily. Parents has more benefit when their children can be around of them and will avoid the children crime if their children at another place. The children safety is more guaranteed than outside nursery. 3.5 Reduce the absenteeism among staff When the children has been around from their parents any problem from their children can be tell direct to their parents and can be solve easily. Many of parents need to spending time to hospital and spend time to take care of their children if the children was sick. So, when the nursery at the workplace existence the parents still can continue the work and when they have free time they can look up their children from time to time.

RECOMMENDATION

RECOMMENDATION The employer need to make sure the complete facility has been ready for the nursery. The employer needs to give chance to employee to spend time with their child without disrupting the work. The employee need to practice high discipline about work to maintain the performance of agency. The research from employer need to be implement in organization to see the result. The relieve employee obtained also is a factor to increase the performance of agency. The employer need to give chance to employee to take care of sick children. Employee need to realize with the facility that prepared from employer, so that will increased the performance of agency.

CONCLUSION
Childcare introduces efficiency in the workplace, as parents can work in a peaceful state of mind. They know that their children are well fed, secure and protected[which] is key to workers safety at work, but also to employers, enabling them to reduce costs resulting from workplace injuries and health claims. Childcare has an obvious impact on the companys productivity. Through this survey we know the requirement for working parents and give the solution with establish the nursery at the workplace.
