PERCEPION STUDY OF

BRTS AND AMTS


INTRODUCTION
AMTS: Traditional existing public transport system in
Ahmedabad for over 50 years.

Due to problem of pollution, congestion of traffic and


increased trip time the need arise to design efficient, safe
and fast system for public transport.

BRTS (Bus Rapid Transit System): Introduced in


Ahmedabad to deal with the increased traffic problems
& to provide speedy public transport system.

It consist separate infrastructure.
