Small CAPEX will be new equipment such as spare pump, new cooler or new unit. Some of these work need to be completed with the limited of time, to solve plant operation problem.

In the past, I-Sketch(now SmartPlant Isometrics) was implemented and used as a tools for generating isometrics drawing from sketch with plant piping specification. Limited on design review. Change of work depend on the quality of the sketch (piping design work) and experience of designer. Most of the work need field adjustment, change order and more man hour spent on As Built. Change raised from the operation during construction even the drawings were approved for construction. Number of small modification increase

Model can be used as communication tool for construction contractor. They can see and make better construction planning based on 3D model. Even engineering cost may increase, but job execution was quite smooth. 3D model could be shared not only the operator but also for safety and maintenance, collecting concerned issue and reduce the re-work.
