NON-DESTRUCTIVE TEST (NDT)

1. Clean

Water soluble -less sensitive -suitable for coarse surface parts

2. Apply penetrant

Emulsifier -more sensitive -suitable for fine surface parts

3. Remove excess penetrant

4. Apply developer and visual inspection

Only for ferromagnetic material

Steps: 1. Clean 2. Magnetize 3. Apply the suspension 4. Visual Inspection 5. Demagnetizing after inspection
