Raising Funds for Battle: $300 Buy-In per Player, to be collected during the Welcome Dinner Overview of Competition: Team 3 Day Event: Running 3 day event between Team Monitor and Team Merrimack (4 points to win) - 1 Point awarded for Day 1: 4-Man, 2 Best Ball Match - 2 Points awarded Day 2: Two matches of 2-Man, Best Ball (1 point for each match) - 4 Points awarded Day 3: Four individual Match Play matches (1 point to each match) Skins Game: Each day individual skins - Day 1 full shots, Day 2 half shots, Day 3 Full shots front 9/half back 9 Daily Game: Day 1 (4-Man Team); Day 2 (payout to lowest two 2-man teams) Individual Low Net: Award for the lowest individual low net, 3 day total Eclectic Score: Top 2 and bottom finisher, utilizing the best net score from each hole over the 3 rounds
Format: Best Ball of 2 players (Head to Head: Medal Play, one best ball of two, maximum net double bogey) GROUP 1 9:00: Monitor: Sid Dorr & Bill Keland vs. Merrimack: Tom Maher & Mike Kavalauskas GROUP 2 9:10: Monitor: Admiral Hanlon & Joe Huston vs. Merrimack: Al Hath & Jon Erlandson Maximum: Net Double Bogey Skins: Net, HALF Shots Day 2 Payout: 2-Man Team: Lowest 2-Man Team: $150 Each; Second place: $50 each Skins: $160 total pot, divided by number of skins awarded (NOTE: Half Shots day 2) If no skins are awarded, pot carries forward. 3-Day Team Event: Each 2-man winner of the head to head match is awarded 1 point for their respective team. Individual: Individual net scores are recorded for a running 3 day total.
* In the event of a match ending prior to 18, players should still complete the round for their running 3-day individual total.
Maximum: Net Double Bogey Skins: FRONT 9: Full Shots; Back 9: Half Shots Day 3 Payout: Each Match Winner: Winner receives $100. Skins: $160 total pot, divided by number of skins awarded (if no skins are awarded, pot is awarded to the low individual net champion). 3-Day Team Event: 1 point is awarded to the winner of each match for their respective team. Each member of the winning team receives $150. Individual: Individual net scores are recorded for a running 3 day total, Winner receives $120. Eclectic: Champion - $100; Second - $40; Consolation Prize - $20.
INDIVIDUAL HANDICAPS: Handicaps are based on the 11/1/13 GHIN Handicap index, adjusted for the Sherman Tees Slope. Those players who chose to play a set of tees further back, may do so, following the USGA recommendation for course handicap adjustments. Players playing a different tee set will be adjusted by adding the differential between the course ratings of the respective tees. The below chart includes the handicaps per player allowed.
