Connecting The Handheld To a Computer

To connect Juno series to a computer :

Make sure that the handheld and the computer are switched Make sure you have installed the appopriate connection management software on to the computer. To form a conection, do one of the following:

Use The handhelds integrated bluetooth radio to estabilish a wireless serial link to a bluetooth-enabled computer. For more information. Use a USB connection:
Connct the USB data cable to the USB port on The handheld. Connect the other end of the USB data Cable to a USB port on the computer

Managing The Connection using the Windows Mobile Device Center

Connect the handheld to the computer.

If the Autoplay window appears,close the window. The Windows Mobile Device Center window display the massage connected: Do one of the following:
To synchronize file and data betwen the handheldand a computer To transfer data betwen the handheld and the computer without synchronizing the

device

To transfer file betwewn the computer and the handheld.

To install software into the handheld

To uninstall software from the handheld

Managing the connection using ActiveSync technology

Connec the handheld to tnhe computer

Do one of the following:
To synchronize file and data betwen the handheldand a computer,click next and then

folow thw intruction. To transfer data betwen the handheld and the computer without synchronizing the device, click Cancel to the close wizard.

The Microsoft ActiveSync window display the message Connected To transfer file betwewn the computer and the handheld.

Installing Software onto the Handheld

Connect the handheld to a computer Copy the intallation files to a folder on the handheld Browse to the folder onthe handheld. Tap and hold the installation setp file and select Run If prompted after installation, perform a soft reset Connect the handheld to a computer Insert the CD into office computer

To install software that is provided on a cd

Run the installation setup

If prompted, select the install option for a windows mobile powered device If prompted after installation, perform a soft reset of the handheld
