In a poetic and wonderful oasis, the performance of light, music and colours begins to play. Ads in collaboration with e.motion

In the courtyard of Palazzo Litta, 3000 sqm of natural grass is rolled out at the rough ground. On this green field 120 meters of wooden walkway
leads the visitor to discover the pulsating rings of light which, like magic circles, guide him to meet the audio and video systems.

The installation entitled


“A Special Day”
involves visitors the
minute they enter the
building. Following a
game of clues traced out
by footprints creating a
series of dance-steps,
this urban space
becomes a proscenium
leading the public
towards the terrace.
Inside the space, the
theme of this event
takes shape in the
harmonic tension of
opposites: inside-
outside, music-silence,
light-shadow, symmetry-
asymmetry.

From this encounter-collision, a subtle


labyrinth of snow-white fabric unrolls,
through which are revealed unexpected
perspectives immersed in an unusual
musical atmosphere, inspired by the
music of Edgar Varese, interspersed
with musical pieces from the 1940s and
the contemporary music world.

The fabric creates a barrier and a


passage: sheets acting as theatrical
curtains for the movements of visitors
and for an extemporaneous
performance by actors.
