Student to select a TOPIC. The topic of choice must reflect the contemporary issue of Supply Chain Management (SCM) To pick the topic, student must make reference to the following links

Because of the nature of how the grouping is made, you will find SCM topics scattered across the database. I mean a mixed categorization of journals that relate to SCM. For example, if you have decided to explore the topic Implication of RFID in SCM, in which is technology related, you can make reference to Industrial Management & Data Systems (in the Information & Knowledge Management Database)

Criteria of good report

Student must produce a report that incorporates three main sections: 1) The definition of the topic must cite references applicable to SCM 2) Literature Review of the topic examples, RFID or Six Sigma 11

Must summarize the following information in a table format A) Authors & Year of publication, Title of the manuscript B) Model or theory applied C) Nature of study quantitative or qualitative. Explain its variable, relationships and research methodology implications

D) Briefly explain the research implication. 3) Examine the topic relatedness to SCM, from the perspectives a) potential implication to SCM practitioners b) implication to theory or model development c) potential barriers or limitation to SCM practitioners d) propose how the topic help retain competitiveness in business
