MASTER DATA Business Partner

Business Partner
Business Partners are at the center of business transactions, and thus the center of business interest. All relevant information on a Business Partner must therefore be available quickly in consolidated form. This means that a central view of a business partner over all areas is imperative. A business partner exists only once, regardless of the business transaction in which they participate. For example, if a company is both a customer and a vendor, it is still one and the same business partner. However, a business partner can come into contact with a company in several situations. Depending on the specific business processes in which a business partner participates, the information required on the business partner may vary considerably. A business partner is in contact with other business partners. These relationships can be very different in nature (for example, a marriage, contact person, company relationships).
